Next month, L’Oréal’s Suzhou factory will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Located in SIP, this factory has grown into L’Oréal’s largest manufacturing base worldwide. In 2024, L’Oréal’s first self-built smart operation center came into operation in SIP, capable of processing 157,000 parcels per day. Marc-Antoine Poulle attributed such achievement in digitalization to SIP’s efficient, pragmatic services.

This view was echoed by Dominic Jeong from S&S Tech Corporation, a South Korean blank mask manufacturer. In March, S&S Tech signed an agreement with the government of Suzhou to invest US$150 million to build an R&D and manufacturing base for blank masks used in flat-panel displays in SIP.
