The 16th Jiangsu Book Fair opened in SIP on July 2. Concurrently, the 2026 Suzhou Literature Week kicked off, adding to the ambience of literature and art in the industrial park.

This five-day literary event, themed “Embarking on a New Reading Journey – Setting Sail for the 15th Five-Year Plan”, featured an integrated exhibition model that linked main and branch venues while blending online and offline experiences. With the participation of over 200 bookstores, more than 150 reading activities were held to boost the public’s interest in reading.

As the event was ongoing, the Jinji Lake area was awash in the fragrance of books, attracting numerous booklovers who immersed themselves in the joy and peace of reading.
