Opening Hours

To accommodate visitors with different schedules, the museum offers extended evening hours on Fridays and Saturdays in addition to its regular daytime hours. The schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday: 10:00 – 17:00

Last admission: 16:00

Friday and Saturday: 10:00 – 21:00

Last admission: 20:00

Monday: Closed

Halls

The museum has nine halls. Halls 2 (multi-functional), 4 (an exhibition and performance hall) and 9 (expert building) are open to the public only when events are held. The other halls operate on a regular basis after the official opening. (In the event of temporary closures during exhibition installation or removal, notices will be issued in advance.)

Admission Rules

An all-in-one ticket is available for the opening exhibitions. With one ticket, visitors can access all open exhibitions throughout the museum on the day of their visit and explore the four thematic sections.

Ticket Purchase:

Online purchase: Visitors can buy tickets through the museum’s official WeChat mini-program or authorized third-party online platforms.

On-site purchase: Tickets are available at the self-service ticket machines and service counter at the Service Center on the ground floor of Hall 1.

Group Services:

For group visits (20 people or more), tickets can be purchased directly at the service counter of the Service Center on the ground floor of Hall 1, or inquiries can be sent to us by email:

Children in study or other tours organized by external organizations must be accompanied by an adult and must register their information before entering the museum.

*Tips: When the number of visitors exceeds the maximum daily capacity or instantaneous capacity, the museum will implement crowd control measures. We appreciate your understanding. If there are many visitors waiting to enter, please queue patiently.

Location & Transportation

The museum’s underground parking lot will also be open to the public. However, the area around the museum can be busy and parking spaces are limited, so visitors are advised to use public transportation whenever possible.

Supporting Services

The Service Center on the ground floor and the storage area on the second basement floor of Hall 1 are the main locations for daily visitor services. Staff can assist with inquiries, luggage storage, equipment rental and other needs.

To learn more about the exhibitions, visitors can choose from a variety of guided tour options, including free guided tours, electronic guides and paid guided tours.

*The museum reserves the right to adjust or cancel guided tour services based on actual circumstances. Please refer to on-site arrangements.
