A new service station came into operation at Ideal Innovation Building, SIP on July 16 to show care and love for people engaged in new forms of employment, such as delivery workers and drivers who are paid for their services through online supply-demand matching platforms.

The station is equipped with basic service facilities such as charging sockets as well as free drinking water and first-aid kits to meet the daily needs of outdoor workers. It also has a dedicated area with supplies for female workers.

The station also has comfortable seats, a microwave oven, and a bookshelf with various books which visitors can use free of charge.

The station hosted an event on the same day, giving mung bean soup, sun protection face masks and cooling towels to on-demand food delivery riders, couriers and sanitation workers.
