The exhibition themed “Honey Kuma’s 100 Honey-Stealing Plans” opened at Unice Art Gallery, SIP on July 21, and will last till Aug 20. The exhibition features 70 handmade wool felt works centered around the original IP “Honey Kuma”.

Inside the gallery, over ten transformed versions of Honey Kuma are on display—from a plump mushroom to a fluffy lamb, a clever rabbit, and a chubby panda—each radiating the warmth of handcraftsmanship. Original wool felt works and the IP-related merchandise are sold on site.

Zhang Chun, the creator of Honey Kuma, has long used wool felt as the medium to weave warm, humorous, and imaginative stories where Honey Kuma, the bear with perseverance, keeps on trying “stealing” honey from bees.

“The 100th time is never an end but a new beginning,” Zhang said, hoping to inspire visitors with the courage to face failure and persevere for a success.
