The representatives from over 10 enterprises engaged in biomedicine, healthcare, new energy and green industries visited Oxford Suzhou Centre for Advanced Research (OSCAR), Oxford’s first overseas physical science and engineering research arm, on July 15, enhancing exchanges and seeking cooperation.
The event was organized under Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District’s Huihu 50L (Lab) 100E (Experiment) program which is aimed at establishing 50 new university-enterprise labs and promoting commercialization of 100 university-derived projects within two years.

The participants first visited OSCAR’s exhibition hall, where they learned details about its development and operation. Then, they viewed the exhibition of sci-tech innovation outcomes from OSCAR and companies it has incubated.

At the later meeting, the enterprises’ representatives discussed with OSCAR’s research teams topics concerning technology commercialization, application scenarios, and possibilities of cooperation.
