The 2026 Taohua Island Midsummer Fun Travel Festival kicked off at Taohua Island, SIP on July 4, with 20-plus theme activities scheduled to last till Aug 30.

In the lakeside fishing area, whether families with children or couples, everyone can enjoy the leisurely pleasure of summer fishing amidst the lush lotus leaves and fragrant blossoms.

The woodland off-road trail, a red-brick path dappled with tree shadows, allows participants to feel the thrill of speed intertwined with nature as they race through the breeze.

As night falls, the fluorescent track on Jinji Lake lights up, and the night karting boats set sail, offering the exhilaration of riding the waves and the romance of shimmering lights reflected on the water.

In addition to these innovative activities, the island has launched special programs such as “Night Detective” and “Let’s Explore Moss Together”, guiding children to discover the mysteries of nature and life.

Additionally, as a signature destination for the development of “sweet economy” in SIP, the island holds social activities frequently for young people to relieve stress and make friends.

It is worth mentioning that, during the festival, couples can score a sweet gift by snapping a photo at the “Love Letter from Island” installation and finding at least three scenic sunset spots around the island.
