Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District recently organized two training sessions to help local grassroots emergency response teams enhance abilities of coping with emergencies.

The first training session was held on July 10, when the participants learned skills of bandaging a wound, using firefighting devices, and guiding urgent evacuation.

In the second training session on July 13, the participants practiced CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation), the use of an AED (automated external defibrillator) and the Heimlich manoeuvre.
