SIP holds the conference on July 6 in the aim of “striving harder to build an open, innovative world-class high-tech park”. The event has illuminated the path for SIP to pursue higher level of development.

At the event, SIP announced a set of measures aimed at accelerating its development toward an open, innovative world-class high-tech park, charting a clear blueprint for its future commitment to open cooperation, innovation-driven growth, industrial upgrading, and urban governance.

The local authorities and enterprises and other organizations involved expressed determination and unveiled specific plans for the implementation of the measures.

Moreover, it was explicitly stated that SIP will serve as a “frontrunner for integrated development of Shanghai and Suzhou” and a “critical fulcrum of the international science and technology innovation center in the Yangtze River Delta”.

The implementation plan for accelerated development of the Sangtian Science Island was unveiled at the event.

Taking this conference as a new starting point, SIP aims to achieve new heights in all aspects to remain a leading role among national development zones and build itself into a world-class high-tech park characterized by openness and innovation.
