SIP’s Weiting Sub-district recently convened a roundtable meeting, bringing together representatives from on-demand food delivery service platforms, industrial organizations, communities and property management companies to discuss solutions for challenges such as those concerning delivery rider access and vehicle parking in communities.

During the meeting, the platforms proposed better rider management and dispute prevention measures, while communities and property management companies suggested solutions for improvement of QR-code-based entry, designated parking zones, and shared tools for last-mile deliveries.
Qingchun Jiayuan Community shared experience in serving on-demand food delivery riders and couriers, including offering drinking water, mobile phone charging facilities, first-aid medicine and other supplies they may need during work.
The sub-district has set up a dedicated WeChat group for routine communication with on-demand food delivery service platforms and property management companies, while the platforms promised to enhance safety and legal compliance training for delivery riders and property management companies plan to improve wayfinding signage and transport tools in communities. Together, these parties hope to jointly build a more harmonious, collaborative community service system.
