A survey team from Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District visited Jiangsu STMed Technology Co Ltd in Dongjing Industrial Square in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district on Sept 14, learning about its conditions and needs as basis for future support for the company.

STMed focuses on life-support medical technology. It has independently developed a lineup of products, including the OASSIST? ECMO extracorporeal cardiopulmonary support system, heart-lung machines, membrane oxygenators, arteriovenous cannulas, and blood oxygen saturation monitors.

Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District and Xietang Sub-district, considering their geographic proximity and complementarity in industrial layout and grassroots management, have been carrying out a collaboration mechanism for synergetic development in multiple aspects.

During the visit, the survey team toured around the company’s exhibition hall and workshops, and met with its executives, learning details about its operations concerning core technology development, product registration, marketing and facility upgrading as well as challenges they had encountered in daily operations.

The survey team gave high comments on the company’s achievements, and encouraged it to continue to make self-dependent innovation and enhance its competitiveness in market, promising the district will provide all-around support for it to grow stronger.
