Xinyue Community in SIP’s Jinji Lake Sub-district recently hosted its fifth night run which attracted over 200 residents and others from the community’s partner organizations. More than a sporting event, the night run highlighted the community’s 10-year development from a residential area of strangers to a shared happy home to all.

The photo exhibition at the starting line showcased the community’s journey over the past 10 years, and handy service stalls enhanced the warmth. Six themed checkpoints fostered a strong sense of collective engagement.

Before the run, eight organizations, including SIP People’s Procuratorate and Courts as well as Social Security and Provident Fund Management Center, pledged regular support in forms of legal, medical and other services for senior and empty-nest households.

At the end of the event, finishers received their medals, and participants filled the message wall with heartfelt notes bearing their deep love for the community.
