The 2026 China Biotech Innovation Conference is set to take place at Suzhou International Expo Centre, SIP from Oct 30 to Nov 2. It will encompass keynote speeches, thematic sessions, closed-door seminars and exhibitions to showcase the latest achievements in biotechnology, explore trends in biotech innovation and industrial development, and provide strong support for deepening the integration of technological and industrial innovation and fostering new quality productive forces.

The event is sponsored by the China National Center for Biotechnology Development, and organized by SIP Administrative Committee, the National Center of Technology Innovation for Biopharmaceuticals, and the Regional University-Industry Technology Transfer Center for Biopharmaceuticals (Suzhou, Jiangsu), with Suzhou Industrial Park Biotech Development Co Ltd serving as the co-organizer.

The conference will boast a remarkable lineup of guests. Renowned experts and scholars, representatives from industrial parks, medical institutions, leading enterprises and investment organizations, as well as delegates from relevant societies, associations, and professional bodies, will gather and share their insights. The event will serve as a high-end platform for exchange and a bridge for cross-sector collaboration in technology research and commercialization.

Several academicians will deliver keynote speeches at the opening ceremony, and achievements in building the think tank of the China National Center for Biotechnology Development will be unveiled. The 2026 Evaluation and Analysis Report on Competitiveness of Chinese Biomedicine Clusters will be released.

Notably, the conference will include 15 thematic sessions focusing on hot topics such as AI-empowered cutting-edge biotechnology development, biomanufacturing innovation, brain-computer interface technologies and industrial innovation, AI-driven high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine, smart healthcare, and collaborative development across the entire innovative drug industry chain.

In addition, roadshows will be held for promising biotech projects.
