The Youth Venture Platform Pro, the upgraded version of the Youth Venture Platform, a facility dedicated to supporting young entrepreneurs in SIP, was unveiled on July 10. With larger space, better services and a more supportive ecosystem, it is expected to provide stronger support for young entrepreneurs and their projects.

The platform, inaugurated in late 2020, provides full-cycle entrepreneurial services. Since its launch, it has nurtured over 10,000 young entrepreneurs, incubated 186 projects, driven employment for about 1,000 people, and facilitated RMB580 million in financing.

The Youth Venture Platform Pro, with a total area of 7,398 square meters, makes 248 new co-working spaces and 12 new offices available for one-person companies (OPCs). It aims to enable easier financing and business operation by continuously improving its facilities and services.

After the unveiling, the Administrative Committee of Suzhou Dushu Lake Sci-Edu Innovation District signed agreements with ModelScope and the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research of the University of Science and Technology of China for deeper industry-academia collaboration.

A number of higher education institutions and other organizations received the plaque for partners of SIP’s youth entrepreneurship supporting ecosystem.

On the same day, the Youth Venture Platform Pro welcomed its first 48 startups, and offered gift packs to three students studying abroad and working as interns in three of these startups.
