SIP and Monash University, one of Australia’s most prestigious universities, signed an agreement on May 12 to deepen cooperation in the development of the university’s research institute in SIP.

The research institute, a cooperative project between Monash University and SIP Administrative Committee, is the only organization authorized by Monash University to conduct scientific research and cultivate high-level talents in China. It has grown into a high-end facility for deep industry-university-research collaboration.

Under the agreement, the two parties will enhance collaboration in innovating work mechanisms, promoting talent cultivation and establishing a POC (proof of concept) fund to help commercialize technology achievements and incubate projects from Monash University in China.
