The 3rd Wisdom Lake Postgraduate Researcher Development Conference was held at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), SIP on June 23.

The event brought together people from higher education institutions, research institutes, key enterprises and other organizations in SIP, offering an opportunity for young researchers to exchange opinions and expertise.

The event included a three-minute speech contest where 16 doctoral candidates from the University of Science and Technology of China, Soochow University, XJTLU and other higher education institutions gave short speeches on their research projects using easy-to-understand language, covering computer science, environmental science, artificial intelligence, life and biomedical sciences, architecture, and commercial science.

The representatives from enterprises and research institutes interacted with the doctoral candidates on site, and offered job vacancies to them.

The representative from UniX AI, an SIP-based high-tech company, shared her insights on the robotics industry and career planning with the participants.

The representative from SIP authorities gave the participants a detailed account of SIP’s talent incentives.
