The “Rollin’ in the Sky” exhibition, featuring elements from Rollin’ Wild, a series of animated clips featuring spherical animals in a humorous and surreal world, kicked off in SIP on June 23 as part of the 2nd “Suzhou Eye” Sky Fantasy Festival, and will last till Sept 22. It is expected to greatly boost tourism in SIP during this summer vacation.

Created by Passion Pictures animation directors Kyra Buschor and Constantin Paeplow in 2012, the Rollin’ Wild features a whimsical animal world with round characters and lighthearted storytelling. It has amassed over one million subscribers overseas and earned a 9.0 rating on Douban, a social network and review website in China.

From the specially decorated capsules of the 128-meter-high “Suzhou Eye” Ferris wheel, the riders can enjoy panoramic views of the skyline of Suzhou, the beautiful Jinji Lake and its surroundings, as well as adorable installations of Rollin’ Wild characters.

Additionally, the lakeside experience is enhanced by AI technology, such as robot interactions, fantastic shows, and diverse smart devices including AI-powered nail art machines and 3D printers.
