The TROX APO Innovation and Manufacturing Headquarters came into operation in SIP on June 18. The new facility will serve as TROX’s “innovation engine” and “intelligent manufacturing hub” in the Asia-Pacific region, further enhancing its competitiveness globally.

TROX GmbH, based in Germany, is a global leader in the development, production and marketing of components, appliances and systems for indoor air conditioning and ventilation. With a total investment of nearly USD100 million, this new project represents the company’s largest single overseas investment. It is designed to be a “versatile” base integrating R&D, manufacturing, testing, and training, with an annual operating income estimated at RMB 1 billion upon reaching full capacity.

       This year marks the 75th anniversary of TROX’s founding and the 25th anniversary of its entry into Chinese market. The new facility is expected to help accelerate TROX’s transformation from an equipment supplier to a system solutions partner in the Asia-Pacific region.
