A concert was held on the right bank of Jinji Lake on the evening of Aug 19 to celebrate the Qixi Festival (also known as Chinese Valentine’s Day) that fell on the day.

The show boasted a repertoire of diverse beloved love songs ranging from tender solos to evocative duets. The audience sang along softly in unison, while the glow of mobile phone flashlights formed a sea of stars, culminating the romantic and gentle atmosphere on the summer night.

The lakeside paths and open spaces were filled with people drawn by the event. Couples nestled together, families chatted, and groups of friends gathered for photos. Their laughter and cheerful conversations blended into a lively summer night prelude, fully embodying SIP’s vibrant atmosphere.
