From Sept 19 to Oct 16, the “Jinji Lake Night”, a leg of the 2026 Shanghai International Light Festival, will be held in Jinji Lake Scenic Area, SIP. This will be the first time that the Shanghai International Light Festival tours outside Shanghai.

The event is expected to facilitate deep connections and interactions between Shanghai and Suzhou in cultural tourism, commerce and urban aesthetics.

Highlights will include the giant screen MAPPING show that thrilled audiences at the previous sessions of the festival, the original work “Tracing Light” that will present a fantastical visual experience, and the iconic installation “Between Spaces” composed of seven colorful art boxes layered with nine large camphor trees, symbolizing Suzhou’s infinite inclusiveness and diversity.

Moreover, SIP’s first robot block will be unveiled during the festival, with leading embodied intelligence enterprises showcasing their products and technologies.
