Walmart, a global retail giant, is going to open a Neighborhood Market? at Shin Kong Place (Suzhou) in SIP within this year, enhancing its connection with customers at the local level. 

It is learned that this store is one of the first Neighborhood Markets that Walmart plans to set up in Suzhou, the second city in China to introduce such Walmart facilities following Shenzhen.

Walmart Neighborhood Markets represent an important evolution in Walmart’s retail strategy. The much smaller format allows Neighborhood Markets to locate in more urban areas and suburbs. With their friendly experience and focus on fresh foods, Neighborhood Markets aim to meet more of the routine shopping needs of surrounding communities.

A key attraction of the Neighborhood Market in SIP will be a range of products offered by the Walmart brand “Marketside”, including fresh groceries, ready-to-eat meals, and bakery items.
