On July 1, the Chuangyuan Road off-ramp at the Sangtian Island Interchange on the Middle Ring east line officially opened to traffic.
The one-way, two-lane ramp, with a designed speed of 40 km/h, consists of a 312-meter bridge section and a 395-meter road section. Vehicles traveling southward on the elevated highway can now directly access Chuangyuan Road via this ramp.

As a core project of the Sangtian Island transport hub, the Sangtian Island Interchange will be renovated into one with nine ramps. To minimize disruption to traffic, the project undertaker prioritized completing the Chuangyuan Road off-ramp first, which has significantly eased traffic pressure in the surrounding area. The other ramps connected with the interchange will be constructed as scheduled.
