The New Suzhou Lifestyle Fashion Show themed “Sweet Encounter, Romantic Lake” was held at Ligongdi Cultural and Creative Block, SIP on the evening of Apr 30, with the glittering Jinji Lake as a backdrop and the walkway leading to the pavilion at the lake’s center as the runway.

The event started with the performance of “The Peony Pavilion”, a classic work of Kunqu opera, followed by the performance of 70 models dressed in innovative Suzhou-style attire.

In addition to domestically renowned professional models, the model team from Soochow University and the children’s model team from the Harmony ? Flower Season Youth Art Troupe participated in the performance, showcasing amazing designs featuring innovative integration of traditional clothing craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics.

Ligongdi Cultural and Creative Block is offering other opportunities for people to experience new styles of life in Suzhou, such as the creative dishes offered by restaurants there and the theme markets highlighting traditional and modern cultural elements.
