Recently, the staircase at Suzhou Eslite Bookstore in SIP has been elaborately decorated for a poetic verse exhibition that will run from July 2026 to June 2027.

The northern part of the staircase features layered warm-hued gradient drapes bearing well-selected poems echoing the theme of “emotion, season, and daily life”. The exhibits are reminiscent of the glow of dawn and dusk, as well as spring blossoms and autumn leaves, mirroring the intimate inner world of individuals. 

The southern part, by contrast, boasts cool-toned gradient drapes conjuring the azure sky and verdant woodlands, symbolizing the depth of history and the vitality of life. The poetic verses are centered on the theme of “homeland, life, and the future”.

Beyond enjoying the exhibition, visitors can use the POS machines installed along the staircase to print out short poems inspired by the lives of children living in mountainous areas. All donations collected will be directed toward cultural and art education programs for children in these areas.
