Over 80 young people from Suzhou and Yilan competed in four teams in the dragon boat event held on Xietang River in SIP on July 17, demonstrating thrilling speed and excellent teamwork.

The event was part of the 6th Cross-Straits Youth Culture Month which, scheduled from mid-July to late September, is designed to enhance exchanges and cooperation between young people in Suzhou and Taiwan.

The event featured two rounds of 150-meter straightaway races, and the final rankings were determined based on overall scores.

Beyond the races, cultural activities such as folk art exhibitions, dragon boat tug-of-war and intangible cultural heritage workshops allowed the participants to bond over shared culture and traditions.
